When we met he was a candle carver... wizards, dragons and turtles just to name a few and he had a magical touch. We would meet up again every spring for the Colorado Renaissance Festival, catch up on life and renew our friendship over many dinners and evening spent talking with friends. Many years later, Steve would move in with my husband and myself as he healed from a broken heart. He forced us to go out for ice cream on a regular basis and became a self apppointed personal trainer for our ski racer children. Bill put Steve to work in his construction business and he learned a new trade and found a new calling. He eventually moved back to the island of Anna Maria, started his own construction business, bought a house and fell in love again with Frannie Hoffman and her 2 children and now Frannie is part of our family, too. We lost this wonderful soul on June 10th and we are now on Anna Maria Island to say goodbye to our dear friend and "brother". You went too soon, old friend, we weren't done with you yet. I can't wait to share new stories and talk of old memories with you. Till we meet again.
