Adopted by Sandy Sheffield I think the simple unassuming pansy is my favorite flower. They are actually part of the viola family and are a common garden flower that just about anybody on the planet can grow! There is something about their happy faces that always makes me smile. Maybe because it was one of my Mother's favorite garden flowers and seeing them helps me remember her. I always drove home on Mother's Day to plant a bed of them for her and I loved that something so simple gave her so much pleasure. I guess that makes everyday that I see a pansy Mother's Day... Enjoy
